Case Study · Web Design

Two audiences, one front door.

Supply SA helps small, local, and veteran-owned businesses in San Antonio get certified and compete for public contracts. The old site made everyone dig for that. We rebuilt all eleven pages on the WordPress it already ran, split the homepage by who is visiting, and swapped it live without breaking a single link.

The redesign.

Same organization, same WordPress, same addresses. The homepage now asks one question first: are you a business trying to sell, or a buyer looking for one?

The part you cannot see.

A public-facing site has to work for every business owner who lands on it, on any phone and any connection, and it has to keep working while it changes. This is the work that does not show up in a screenshot.

102 MB

of video gone from every page

The old hero was a 4K video set to autoplay behind nearly every page, so every visitor paid for it before reading a word. It is gone from all eleven, replaced by still images and solid bands.

0

contrast failures on the new pages

The brand teal was carrying text it could not carry, as low as 2.59:1, and one download button was the same color as its own background. Every text and background pair was checked against WCAG AA before launch.

11

pages live, every old link intact

The new layouts went into the existing pages, so menus, bookmarks, and search results still land, and the two pages that moved redirect from their old addresses. The contact form still feeds Supply SA's intake system, field for field.
